Good evening or good night?

We use 'good evening' as a greeting after six p.m.
Use 'good night' at the end of the evening when you leave someone for the day.
Example Sentences:
Good evening Tom, would you like to have some dinner with me?
Good night. I'll see you at work tomorrow.
